LexiPrep works without an account or internet connection. Vocabulary, grammar, irregular verbs, 75 interactive stories, quizzes, games, Everyday English, pronunciation, favorites, and progress work offline. Only the optional Google Translate link requires internet.
LexiPrep is offered as a one-time paid App Store download. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Apple processes the purchase, applicable taxes, refunds, and payment information. LexiPrep does not receive or store payment-card or banking information.
LexiPrep stores the learner's optional name, preferences, study and reading position, custom words, favorites, story notes, points, and streaks locally on the device. A story note contains the word or sentence the learner chooses and the learner's own note text. Story content and all 1,215 English vocabulary entries are bundled or assembled locally by the app. Underlined story words and phrases are matched against that complete library on the device; these lookups and notes are not transmitted. This information is used only to provide learning and progress features. LexiPrep does not operate a server that receives this information.
Pronunciation and spoken feedback use Apple's text-to-speech capability and work offline when the required device voices are available. LexiPrep does not record audio and does not request microphone permission. A learner may optionally use Apple's keyboard dictation to enter a synonym. Dictation is an operating-system keyboard feature governed by the learner's device settings and Apple's privacy terms. LexiPrep receives only the resulting text and checks it locally against saved synonyms.
Translation is the only learning feature that requires internet. LexiPrep opens Google Translate only after the learner selects a language and taps Translate. The selected vocabulary text and language are included in the external Google Translate link, and Google's privacy policy then applies. Privacy and support links also open this website in the device browser.
LexiPrep does not require an account, connect to an AI service, include advertising or analytics SDKs, sell personal information, or track learners across apps or websites.
LexiPrep is a general-audience educational app. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users. Parents and guardians should supervise a child's use of external websites opened from the app.
The learner can delete individual story notes inside the relevant story. The learner can erase all locally stored information, including custom words and story notes, by choosing Profile > Reset app and progress. Removing the app also removes its local app data, subject to the device's operating-system backup behavior.
This policy may be updated when LexiPrep's features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
